Keith Babuszczak
Vice President of Programs
As Vice President of Programs at SparkNC, Dr. Keith Babuszczak leads the development of innovative learning experiences that connect students with high-tech careers. Working closely with educators and industry professionals, he supports the program team in shaping experiences that bridge the gap between education and emerging workforce needs.

With a strong background in career-connected learning, Keith has built and supported multiple pathways that prepare students for in-demand jobs. He has secured grants, launched initiatives, and created opportunities for students to earn while they learn.
In 2023, he was recognized as one of EdScoop’s University Technology Leaders of the Year, and in 2024, he participated in a Fulbright International Education Administrator fellowship where he explored higher education systems in India. He also served as the Principal Investigator for a US National Science Foundation-funded initiative that supported a networking and cybersecurity bootcamp, providing students with an income while equipping them with high-tech skills and strengthening their sense of connection to high-tech careers.

Before joining SparkNC, Keith was the Provost for IT Programs and the RTP Campus at Wake Technical Community College. His career in education spans multiple states—Texas, Massachusetts, and New York—where he has held roles leading and supporting career and technical education. A frequent speaker at local and national conferences, his presentations cover employer partnerships, educational pathways, curriculum development, and emerging technologies in education.
Keith holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the Sage Colleges, an M.Ed. from the University of Missouri, and a B.F.A. from Sam Houston State University. He also attended Lone Star College and has earned professional certifications in IT, including AI and design thinking credentials.
